Do I have to pay the property tax every year?
Yes, the property tax should be paid every financial year.
How do I know from when I am due to pay the property tax?
From the year of registration, you have to pay tax every year. The financial year starts from 1st April and ends on 31st March.
Will Vakil Housing help me in paying my property tax?
Yes! If you wish us to pay your property tax, please fill in the Property Tax Form Form and follow the 3 step process mentioned on that page.
What do you require from me to process the payment?
You need to fill in the Property Tax Form and send us the payment. We’ll take care of the rest!
How much is the property tax amount? and how much is your service charge?
The Property Tax amount depends on the Project and the area of the Plot. The service charge is Rs. 500. To know the total amount that needs to be paid, along with the service charge please contact: propertycare@vakilhousing.com

How much do I have to pay, if the Property Tax is due for more than 1 year?
Multiply the Tax Charges & Cess by the number of years it is due. The Service charge remains at Rs 500, irrespective of the number of years it is due.
After sending the payment when will I get the tax paid receipt?
On receipt of your payment it will take 3 weeks to process the tax payment and receive the tax paid receipt from the government office.
How do I collect the tax paid receipt from Vakil Housing?
Once your payment is processed, you will receive an e-mail from us on the same. If you wish you can collect the tax paid receipt personally, or on your request we shall courier the same to your address.
Is any dead line for paying property tax? do they charge any penalty, if I am due for 2-3 years?
No. there is no any such dead line, and they will not charge any penalty for the same.
Can I pay the property tax in advance for coming years?
No. they will collect the property tax amount only till the existing year.
